that the year is coming to a close, people often look back at the past

focus on the good, as they picked out the beautiful wedding dress trends of 2011.
Celebrity style was evident this year, as hundreds of replicas of Kate Middleton's Alexander McQueen gown were sold and Bella Swan's dress from the film "Breaking Dawn" was also extremely popular. One surprise dress that made its way into the wedding fashion circuit was Pippa Middleton's bridesmaids dress. Rustic romantic gowns were also popular this year, as the princess bride made an appearance with exquisite detailing and sweetheart necklines.
Additionally, vintage gowns made their way down many aisles this past year, as did short wedding dresses. Instead of brides changing into a shorter dress during the reception, they used it for all of the events.
